Hearing & Audiology

Overview

Precise Hearing Evaluation, Personalised Solutions

Hearing loss often develops so slowly that people around notice it before the person themselves does. Someone may start asking others to repeat themselves, or keep the television louder than before. Our audiology services are designed to measure exactly how much a person can hear, and where the problem lies, so that the right kind of help, whether medical, surgical or a hearing aid, can be planned.

FAQs on Hearing & Audiology

Not at all. Audiometry tests are completely painless and simply involve responding to sounds through headphones in a quiet room.

If a child is not responding to sounds or is late in starting to speak, a hearing test is recommended as early as possible, since early detection makes a real difference.

It depends on the cause. Some types, such as those from wax or infection, can improve with treatment. Others, especially age related or nerve related loss, are managed with hearing aids.

No referral is needed. You can walk in or book an appointment directly for an audiology evaluation.
